HttpMaster Professional is available as a free download from our software library. HttpMaster – A useful application for the web developers who need to automate the testing of web applications requesting multiple resources from a specified website. It is natural that professional web developers need advanced testing tools for their applications, whether we are talking about a website or a website. Web-based application.
With a feature-rich set, HttpMaster Professional Edition aims to meet the requirements of many regarding application testing.
HttpMaster project When working with HttpMaster, you will most often manage HttpMaster project properties and properties of the request items contained in the project. Project properties offer global options to customize online requests that will be fulfilled; changes to these properties affect all project requests.
HttpMaster project can be saved to disk as a file with ‘hmpr’ extension for later reuse. A project file is stored internally in XML format.

A wide set of http features
HttpMaster project contains many options that can be used to fine-tune generated http requests. These include request encoding, global URL and query string, globalhttp request headers and some advanced features such as URL encoding and the ability to completely disable execution data, which can be useful if you want executions to be completed as quickly as possible without collecting any data .
In project properties you can also define parameters of different data types and different generation types. Parameters allow you to include dynamic data with the request items; this can be useful for generating multiple requests based on the parameter data or for creating global reusable values.
All defined parameters can be used with request objects, for example, with a URL of the request object.
Validation of response data
By default HttpMaster validates every executed request with default system validation. Default system validation monitors returned http status codes and determines execution result based on this status code. However, you can define custom validations in project properties and then use these project validations to define a custom validation logic expression for each request. There are different types of custom validations available; most of them do some validation on the response body.
HttpMaster project allows you to define string items of different types, which can then be used in request items to include some data from the previous request with the next request. You can use these project chaining items in request element properties, for example, within a request element URL. This will dynamically insert data from the previous request in places where chaining is used. In this way, you can create a chain of requests where each request will use some data from the previous request.
Extensive support for uploading data
Various data properties can be specified when creating a request, including http method, URL address, and more. HttpMaster also has rich support for uploading data; it allows you to post plain text data, the contents of a separate file, or multipart form data, which can include a mix of plain text data and disk files. Request body data for upload can also be automatically constructed from existing HTML content obtained from any Internet address (URL) or disk file.
Request a data builder
If you need to test a particular website with various input data options, you can build a request from existing HTML content obtained from a URL or disk file. HttpMaster will detect all HTML input elements inside FORM tags and display them in the list, where you can include them in the request body. For all HTML elements with multiple choices (for example, radio buttons or SELECT elements), HttpMaster will obtain all possible values from HTML content and enable you to automatically create a multi-value parameter with obtained data values.
Request object execution
HttpMaster offers powerful execution capabilities and allows you to execute only an open request, only selected request items, or all project requests. It is also possible to create execution groups and execute only request items that are part of the particular execution group.
During the execution process you can monitor execution progress and status of each request. HttpMaster also allows complete execution data to be saved to an external file with an “hmex” extension. You can reopen this file at any time later to review execution data.
Execution groups and conditional execution
Selecting the same set of request items for execution over and over again can become tedious and time-consuming tasks. If you need to execute the same request items multiple times, try execution groups. Execution groups are powerful features for simplified execution of multiple request items and allow you to specify a custom execution order for each request contained in the group.
Execution groups also support conditional execution of request objects based on the execution result of any other request object in the same group. For example, you can specify to execute a certain request only if some other request has been successfully executed.
Comprehensive data review
After the execution of a particular request object is finished, you can open and view its execution results. Various execution data are available for review, including http headers, cookies, response data, size, duration, etc.
HttpMaster also has several nice viewers for friendly display of response data, including XML, JSON, HTML, CSS and more. Majority of beautiful viewers support code folding to expand/collapse selected code sections.
Response data can be further manipulated, for example, export response body to an external file, search data for a particular phrase, create a PDF report, and more.
HttpMaster also offers some additional tools, for example, ad hochttp petoilo. If you need to quickly perform a simple http request, creating a project and request may not be the best choice. In such situations, you can use this ad hoc request tool that also supports complete execution data review and management.
You can also use a command line interface to automate execution of HttpMaster projects. Command line execution results are stored in special files that can be opened in HttpMaster for a complete review of execution data.
